Staged within the secluded courtyards of an authentic 18th-century private palácio, this milestone celebration required strict archaeological respect. Not a single nail could touch the porous laterite stone walls.
Our scenographers created self-supporting timber trusses finished in dark antiqued walnut that arched seamlessly beneath historical eaves, holding warm gas-flame lanterns and fragrant trailing bougainvillea.
